Market
A GEO agency for Singapore companies that sell locally and across the region
Singapore buyers, and buyers across Southeast Asia who check a Singapore supplier, ask AI engines to compare options before they email. We make your site the one that gets named, remotely from Rajasthan, India, with calls in Singapore hours.
We have no Singapore office. We work remotely from India, 2.5 hours behind Singapore time, all year.

Singapore is small, dense and heavily regulated, and many of its companies sell outside it. A Singapore firm may be asked about by a buyer in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila or Dubai, as well as by one in Tampines. The page that serves the first buyer is not always the page that serves the second.
This page explains what is specific to Singapore, what rules touch your content, and what the GEO Pilot does in 30 days.
Buyer behaviour
How do Singapore buyers use AI engines to shortlist providers?
Singapore professionals are early and heavy users of digital tools, and AI engines now sit next to Google in daily research. A finance manager asks which corporate secretarial firms handle new company incorporation for foreign founders. A parent asks which enrichment centres teach a given curriculum near a named MRT station. A regional sourcing head in Jakarta asks which Singapore logistics firms offer bonded warehousing.
Prompts tend to be specific and fast. Buyers name a neighbourhood, a station, a regulator, a grant or a scheme: 'near Tanjong Pagar', 'MAS licensed', 'EDG eligible', 'GST registered', 'English and Mandarin speaking'. Engines can only repeat what a page states clearly. Many Singapore sites state the main service and leave out the qualifiers, because the owner assumes they are obvious.
We do not have a trusted figure for how many Singapore adults use each engine, and we will not quote one. We test your category. Week one of the GEO Pilot runs up to 20 buyer prompts across five engines, including regional versions, and shows who is named today. The free AI Visibility Checker is a quick start.
- Prompts with a neighbourhood, station or district
- Prompts that mention a regulator, grant or scheme by name
- Prompts from regional buyers: 'Singapore supplier for ...'
- Prompts in English plus a second language, if your customers use one
- Corporate secretarial firms in Singapore
- Incorporation for foreign founders
- MAS licensed or GST registered
- English and Mandarin speaking
What is different
What is different about the Singapore market
Six points that shape the plan.
Four official languages
English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are official. Business is mostly in English, but consumer services may serve Mandarin speaking or Malay speaking customers. Decide by who buys.
A regional hub
Many companies here serve Southeast Asia and beyond. Prompts may come from outside Singapore, so pages should state where you operate and where you deliver.
Dense regulation
Sectors such as finance, healthcare, education and property have regulator rules on advertising and claims. These shape what pages can say.
A mature data protection regime
The PDPA and its Do Not Call rules are well known and enforced. Forms, newsletters and public case studies should be consistent with them.
Close time zone
Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead of India all year, so calls fit comfortably inside both working days with no daylight saving shifts.
Compact, and well documented
Registries, directories and government listings make entity data easy to verify, which also means errors are easy to spot. Consistency pays.
Privacy and messaging
Which PDPA and Do Not Call points touch a GEO project?
Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) administers the PDPA. Its Do Not Call page, which we read in October 2026, says the rules apply to marketing messages sent to Singapore telephone numbers by voice call, text or fax, that organisations must check the Registry unless they have clear and unambiguous consent, must offer an opt out, and must stop within 21 days of a request. Messages aimed only at businesses and certain relationship messages are exempt. GEO does not involve sending marketing messages, so this affects your wider marketing more than our work. We mention it because contact forms and lead capture pages sit on the same site.
The PDPC also published Advisory Guidelines on the Use of Personal Data in AI Recommendation and Decision Systems on 1 March 2024, per a Rajah and Tann summary. They matter if you use AI to make or recommend decisions about people, not for the content AI engines read about you. If you run such a system, ask your adviser.
What we do on the Pilot is practical. We do not add new tracking tools without approval. We check that contact forms say what the data is used for. We recommend that case studies and testimonials include only information the person has agreed to share. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. Your compliance owner or adviser approves forms, notices and copy.
- Privacy notice linked from every form
- Consent wording for marketing messages kept separate from enquiry forms
- No personal details in public case studies without consent
- Cookie and analytics setup approved by your data protection officer
Claims and reviews
What do CCCS and MOH expect from reviews and claims on your pages?
Two Singapore points that change how pages are written.
The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) enforces the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act. A Baker McKenzie alert dated June 2024 describes a furniture retailer and two related companies that posted fake five star reviews on the retailer's website, which CCCS treated as an unfair practice. CCCS said it would make fake or fabricated reviews an enforcement priority, and the companies gave undertakings to stop and to remove reviews verified as fake. The lesson for GEO is plain: we never write, buy or invent reviews, and we never present a curated set as if it were all of them.
For healthcare, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has rules for licensees. An MOH answer on ask.gov.sg that we read in October 2026 says a review or testimonial is allowed only if the patient provides it on their own initiative, it is unpaid and unsolicited, it has not been altered to affect authenticity, and the licensee does not reproduce it. Licensees must not coerce patients or offer anything of value for testimonials. This directly affects how a clinic or aesthetic practice page may use reviews. We do not reproduce testimonials on healthcare pages without your compliance owner's approval against current MOH rules.
Financial advertising is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and other bodies depending on the product. We have not summarised those rules here. For finance, property, education or legal pages, we draft factual, conservative copy and your compliance owner approves it.
- No fabricated, paid or selectively edited reviews
- Healthcare pages checked against current MOH advertising rules
- Prices and fees stated clearly, with GST wording where it applies
- Regulator licence or registration numbers shown as text
- DoneAnswer blocks added to 6 service pages
- DoneAI crawlers allowed, sitemap cleaned
- NextThird party profiles to match entity facts
MOH rule for healthcare testimonials
- The patient gives it on their own initiative
- Unpaid and unsolicited
- Not altered to affect authenticity
- The licensee does not reproduce it
CCCS view of fake reviews
- Fake five star reviews were an unfair practice
- Fabricated reviews are an enforcement priority
- We never write, buy or invent reviews
Compare
Which Singapore sources do AI engines draw on, by sector?
| Sector | Common source types | What we check |
|---|---|---|
| Fintech and wealth | Your site, regulator registers, news and analyst coverage, comparison sites | Licence status as text, claims wording, named leadership, consistent entity data |
| B2B software and services | Your site, review platforms, LinkedIn, partner directories, press | Product pages that answer category prompts, integrations, security pages |
| Healthcare and aesthetics | Your site, MOH licence information, practitioner pages, review platforms | Licence details, practitioner credentials, compliant review use |
| Education and training | Your site, official course registers, parent communities, review sites | Course facts, accreditation, funding eligibility stated accurately |
| Property and construction | Agency and developer sites, regulator registers, portals, news | Licence numbers, project facts, no unverifiable claims |
| Logistics and trade | Your site, port and trade body directories, marketplaces | Services, coverage, certifications and lead times described plainly |
A map of where to look, not a prediction. Sources vary by prompt and engine, and engines change often.
Language
Do Singapore companies need Mandarin, Malay or Tamil pages for AI visibility?
Not by default. English is the working language of Singapore business and government, and most B2B queries are asked in English. Add another language when your customers genuinely use it and when you can maintain it. A neighbourhood dental practice serving older Mandarin speaking patients has a real case. A corporate secretarial firm serving foreign founders usually does not.
If you add a language, the same rules apply as anywhere. Use separate URLs with language tags, write native text, add FAQs in the new language and test prompts in that language. Our Pilot covers one domain and one language. Two languages fall under the Scale plan or a separate scope.
Also think about regional English. A Jakarta buyer may ask 'Singapore based cloud migration partner for banking clients'. A page that states where the work is delivered, which markets you serve and which regulators you work with is more useful to that engine than one that only says 'Asia Pacific'.
Process
The GEO Pilot for a Singapore company, week by week
- 1
Week 1: baseline and audit
We test up to 20 buyer prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, with local and regional versions. We check crawler access and audit technical and entity signals, including UEN, address and name consistency.
- 2
Week 2: technical fixes
We fix robots rules and crawler access, sitemap, canonicals, structured data and add llms.txt if it helps. Organisation and service markup is checked against visible page text.
- 3
Week 3: rewrite up to 10 pages
We restructure up to 10 priority pages as answer ready, with direct answers, question style headings, FAQs and schema. Regulated claims are drafted conservatively and flagged for approval.
- 4
Week 4: retest and roadmap
We rerun the same prompts and hand over a before and after report and a 90 day roadmap. One domain, one language. We never promise rankings, citations or traffic.
Worked example
What would the Pilot change for a Singapore B2B software company?
Example, hypothetical: a Singapore software company sells expense management tools to mid sized firms across Southeast Asia. Its site has a home page full of slogans, a pricing page that says 'contact us', and security details in a downloadable PDF. Buyers ask engines 'expense management software for companies in Singapore and Indonesia' and 'is expense software PDPA compliant'.
In week one we test those prompts and see engines name larger global products and two comparison sites. We find the security PDF is the only place the company states where data is hosted. In week two we publish a text security page, add Organization and SoftwareApplication markup and unblock a crawler. In week three we write answer first pages on multi currency expenses, GST handling and integrations, and a plain explanation of what the company does and does not do regarding personal data, reviewed by its own counsel. In week four we retest and report.
This is a hypothetical walk through, not a client result. No outcome is implied.
Working remotely
How does a GEO agency in Rajasthan work with a Singapore client?
We work remotely from Rajasthan, India, and we have no Singapore office. We deliver through site access, shared documents and calls. Contact is hello@thegrowingai.com, and the usual start is the free AI visibility report on the contact page.
Singapore is 2.5 hours ahead of India all year, because neither uses daylight saving. A 10am call in Singapore is 7:30am for us, and a 2pm call is 11:30am, so most of your working day is also ours. Weekly written updates and approvals work well across that gap.
We ask for admin login, staging or a Git repository and you approve changes before they go live. We run a small number of Pilots at a time so each one gets senior attention. Our proof is Emtech in Dubai and Sudarshan Stoneix. Neither is in Singapore and neither is a promise. For related sectors, see GEO for B2B SaaS and GEO for professional services.
The problem
Where Singapore companies lose AI visibility
Qualifiers left out
The page says 'accounting services' but not 'for foreign owned companies, GST registered, English and Mandarin'. Engines cannot match the prompt.
Regional reach is vague
'Asia Pacific' covers everything and says nothing. Name countries, delivery and regulators.
Facts held in PDFs
Security, pricing or licence details sit in downloads, not in crawlable text.
Review sections that break rules
Healthcare or aesthetic pages reuse testimonials that current rules do not allow.
Entity data drifts
UEN, address and trading name differ between the site, profiles and registries.
Crawlers blocked
A CDN or security rule blocks AI crawlers by default.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Do you have an office in Singapore?
No. We work remotely from Rajasthan, India. We serve Singapore clients through site access, shared documents and calls, and India is 2.5 hours behind Singapore all year.
What does the GEO Pilot cost for a Singapore company?
$999 USD, one time, delivered inside 30 days, done for you. Monthly plans after the Pilot start from $1,500 per month for Growth and from $3,000 per month for Scale, with scope confirmed in writing.
Can you promise citations in ChatGPT or Google AI Mode?
No. We improve access, structure, clarity and entity signals, then retest the same prompts and report honestly. Engines change often and nobody controls their answers.
Can you help if I sell mostly outside Singapore?
Yes. We build the 20 prompts around the buyers you want, which can include regional versions. The Pilot covers one domain and one language.
Do you check PDPA or MOH rules for my pages?
We flag items that may need review, such as testimonials on healthcare pages and forms. We are not lawyers. Your compliance owner or adviser approves final copy.
Do I need pages in Mandarin, Malay or Tamil?
Only if your buyers use that language and you can maintain it. Most B2B queries are in English. Adding a language is scoped separately or covered by the Scale plan.
Which website platforms can you work on?
WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, custom code and headless sites. You provide admin access, staging or a Git repository, and approve changes.
Will GEO help with my Google ranking too?
It can help indirectly, since clear structure and crawlable pages serve both. We do not promise rankings. We check that fixes do not remove what already works.
How can I see where I stand first?
Use the free AI Visibility Checker or request the free AI visibility report on the contact page. We prepare it by hand and reply within one working day.
