Searches such as GEO agency London, AI SEO agency UK and generative engine optimisation UK all point to the same question: who can help my business be named in AI answers, and how do I check them fairly? The rest of this page helps you answer that.

What is this guide, who wrote it, and why does it list competitors?
This is a fact based guide to agencies that say on their own websites that they offer generative engine optimisation, usually shortened to GEO, to businesses in the United Kingdom. Some also use the terms answer engine optimisation (AEO) or AI SEO. All three describe work that aims to get a brand named and cited in answers from tools such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Microsoft Copilot. If you want the plain definitions first, read GEO vs AEO vs SEO.
We are GrowingAI, one of the agencies a UK buyer could consider, so we are an interested party. We have listed ourselves in a separate section and described ourselves with the same plain facts we used for everyone else. We have no office in the UK. Our team works remotely from Rajasthan, India. If that matters to you, you will see it stated plainly below.
This page is a guide, not a ranking. Agencies are listed in alphabetical order. We do not say any agency is good, bad, better or worse. We have not tested their work, spoken to their clients or seen their reports. Every agency fact below comes from that agency's own public website or from its own published article, and we give the date we read it: 16 October 2026. Where a fact was not on the page, we say so rather than guess.
Websites change. An agency may have updated its services or prices since we read the page. Use this guide to build a shortlist, then check each website yourself and talk to the agencies before you decide.

Method
How we chose which GEO agencies to list for the UK
We searched for agencies that serve UK clients and state GEO, AEO or AI search optimisation as a service on a page of their own site. We looked at the agency's own pages first and used trade directories only to find names. We excluded any agency that we could not read a service page for, so some well known names are missing because we could not verify their service on a page we were able to open. Missing from this list does not mean anything about quality.
For each agency we recorded only the following: where its site says it is based, which AI search services it states, who it says it serves, whether it publishes prices, and how a buyer can contact it. We did not record claims about results, client counts or awards, because we cannot verify them and the rules for comparative advertising in the UK expect claims to be provable.
If you are choosing between very different providers, our buyer's guide, how to choose a GEO agency, goes through twelve questions and the red flags worth watching for.
- The agency states GEO, AEO or AI search optimisation on its own website
- It serves UK clients or states a UK base
- A public service page exists that we could read on the date shown
- We only recorded facts the page stated, in our own words
- Nothing about results, rankings or quality is stated or implied

Where does GrowingAI fit, and what are the facts about us?
We are listed here because UK buyers search for GEO help and we offer it. We are not independent, so judge us on the same facts as the rest. GrowingAI is a GEO agency founded by Nitesh Dan Charan. Our team works remotely from Rajasthan, India, and we have no local office in the UK. We do GEO work only, which means getting brands named and cited in AI answers. We do not build websites, run ads or provide a wider marketing service.
Our pricing is published on our site. The GEO Pilot is a fixed price of $999 USD, one time, delivered inside 30 days. It is done for you: we make the fixes rather than only reporting them. Week 1 is a baseline across five AI engines on up to 20 buyer prompts, plus a crawler access check and a technical and entity audit. Week 2 is technical fixes. Week 3 is a rewrite of up to 10 priority pages. Week 4 is a retest, a before and after report and a 90 day roadmap. It covers one domain and one language. Ongoing monthly plans start from $1,500 per month (Growth) and from $3,000 per month (Scale), with scope confirmed in writing before work starts. Enterprise is custom. Our prices are in US dollars, so compare them with any GBP quote only after you have checked the exchange rate and the VAT position with your finance team.
Our published client examples are two: Emtech, a Dubai IT company, and Sudarshan Stoneix, a marble and granite company. We do not publish a UK case study. Read them at our case studies and judge whether they are relevant to you. We do not promise rankings, citations or traffic.
- Remote team in Rajasthan, India; no office in the UK
- GEO only; no website builds, ads or PR retainers
- GEO Pilot: $999 fixed, one time, 30 days
- Monthly plans from $1,500 and from $3,000 (USD)
- Two published client examples, neither a UK case study
The problem
When another option may suit you better than GrowingAI
You want a team in your city
If you need people who can sit in your office, attend in person workshops or work in your time zone all day, an agency with a UK office is a more natural fit. Our team is remote and several hours apart from the UK, and the gap changes with daylight saving.
You want a very large enterprise programme
If you need many markets, teams and approval layers run for you with dedicated account staff, a larger agency may have the headcount. We run a small number of Pilots at a time so each one gets senior attention.
You want one agency for everything
If you want SEO, paid media, web build and creative from a single supplier alongside GEO, a full service agency covers more. We do GEO only.
You want a long running PR heavy programme
If the main job is sustained media relations and coverage, a PR led firm or a PR team may suit you better. Our Scale plan includes outreach for mentions and placements, but we are not a PR agency.
You want a UK sector specialist
If you are a clinic, an ecommerce brand or a B2B software company and want a team that says it works only in that sector, check the agencies above that state it. We have no UK sector case study.
GrowingAI may suit you
- $999 fixed Pilot in 30 days
- We make the fixes, not only a report
- GEO work only
- Remote team
Another option may suit you
- You want a team in your city
- You need a very large enterprise programme
- You want one agency for everything
- You want a long PR led programme
Pricing
How much does a GEO agency cost in the UK, and how are quotes built?
Only one agency in this guide published a GEO price on the pages we read. According to its pricing page (read 16 October 2026), FirstMotion shows a strategy project from £5,995 plus VAT, with a default example of one country and 100 pages and an estimated timeline of 4 to 5 weeks, and says Growth retainers typically start from £3,500 plus VAT per month, with the exact fee confirmed after scoping. Add ons are not priced there. We quote these as the agency's published figures and make no judgement about them.
The other agencies in this guide say prices depend on scope or direct you to request a quote. Digital Marka says cost depends on the state of the site, the number of services and locations, and how much content and technical work is needed. These are common drivers: how many domains, languages and markets, how many pages need rewriting, how many prompts are tracked, and whether authority work such as digital PR is included.
Because few prices are public, compare quotes by scope, not by headline number. Ask each agency to state in writing what is delivered, over what period, how many pages and prompts, who does the technical changes, and what is excluded. For general background on how GEO is priced, read how much does GEO cost and our pricing page. Remember that UK business quotes are often given excluding VAT, so check which basis each quote uses.
Three pricing shapes appear across the pages we read. A fixed scope project or audit with a defined end. A monthly retainer with a tiered package. And consultancy for teams that already have staff. Our own approach covers the first two; see GEO Pilot vs monthly retainer for how they differ.
Checklist
What should you ask any GEO agency before you sign?
These questions work on every agency in this guide, including us. Ask them in writing so you can compare answers side by side.
Treat vague answers as information. A good answer is specific, names a deliverable and can be checked.
- What exactly will be delivered, by when, and what is not included?
- Who will do the work on my site, and who has access to it?
- Which AI engines and how many buyer prompts will you test, and how will you choose the prompts?
- How will you show a before and after, and can I see the raw answers, not only a score?
- Will you make the technical and content changes, or hand me a list?
- What do you need from me, and how long will approvals take?
- What do you say you cannot control or guarantee?
- Can I speak to a client with a similar business, and what can you share about a comparable project?
- How is the price built, is VAT included, and what happens if scope grows?
- Who owns the content, schema and reports when we stop working together?
More detail, with red flags, in how to choose a GEO agency.
Test it
How to run a one week test of any GEO agency
- 1
Day 1: write 15 buyer prompts
List the questions your real customers would ask an AI tool, in UK wording: 'best accountant for a small limited company in Leeds', not generic phrases. Keep the list and share it with every agency.
- 2
Day 2: capture a baseline
Ask each prompt in ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot. Save screenshots with the date. Our free AI Visibility Checker can give a starting view.
- 3
Day 3: give every agency the same brief
Send the same prompt list, site address and goal to each shortlisted agency. Ask for a written plan and scope, not a sales call.
- 4
Day 4: compare the plans
Check whether each plan names specific pages, crawler and schema fixes, and who does them. Mark anything that promises a position or a number of citations.
- 5
Day 5: ask for a small sample
Ask for one example deliverable, such as a crawler access finding or a rewritten answer section on one page, so you can judge how they work.
- 6
Day 6: check the contract
Read what is excluded, how scope changes are handled, notice periods and who owns the work.
- 7
Day 7: decide with a scorecard
Score clarity, fit and cost for your budget. Do not choose on a promise. Re run your prompts a month later whichever route you pick.
Test any agency in seven days
- 1Day 1Write 15 buyer prompts
- 2Day 2Capture a baseline
- 3Day 3Same brief to every agency
- 4Day 4Compare the plans
- 5Day 5Ask for a small sample
- 6Days 6 and 7Check the contract, then score
Fairness
How we kept this fair
Comparison is allowed in the UK, but it has rules. According to the Advertising Standards Authority guidance on comparative advertising (read 16 October 2026), comparisons with identifiable competitors should be about products that meet the same need, should objectively compare material, relevant, verifiable features, and should give readers enough information to check the claim. The ASA points to rules 3.33 to 3.37 of the CAP Code, section 3 on misleading advertising. Its guidance on the word 'leading' (read 16 October 2026) says an unqualified 'leading' claim is likely to be read as a best selling claim that needs comparative evidence.
Regulation 4 of the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008, on legislation.gov.uk (read 16 October 2026), allows comparative advertising only if, among other conditions, it is not misleading, compares products that meet the same needs, fairly compares verifiable features, does not confuse the advertiser with a competitor, does not discredit a competitor and does not take unfair advantage of its reputation.
So we compare only facts that each agency published, we describe them in our own words, we attach a date, we never say best, top or leading, we show no logos, and we put ourselves under the same format. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. If you publish your own comparison, take advice.
Corrections: if an agency or a reader finds a factual error on this page, email hello@thegrowingai.com and we will check and fix it. A written note saying which statement is wrong and a link to the public page that shows the correct fact will get the quickest result.

FAQ
Questions people ask
How much does a GEO agency cost in the UK?
Most UK GEO agencies do not publish prices. Of the nine in this guide, only FirstMotion showed figures on the pages we read: a strategy project from £5,995 plus VAT and growth retainers typically from £3,500 plus VAT per month, as of 16 October 2026. Others say price depends on scope. Compare quotes by deliverables, number of pages, prompts and markets, and check whether VAT is included.
What is the best GEO agency in the UK?
We cannot honestly name one, and this page is not a ranking. The right agency depends on your sector, budget, how much you want done for you and whether you need people in the UK. Use the criteria and the one week test above to compare a shortlist on facts.
What is the difference between GEO, AEO and AI SEO?
The names overlap. GEO usually means getting a brand cited in generative AI answers. AEO usually means structuring content so answer engines can extract direct answers. AI SEO is a looser label. Agencies use them differently, so judge the deliverables, not the label. See GEO vs AEO vs SEO.
Do I need a London agency for GEO?
Not necessarily. GEO work is mostly done on your website and its public footprint, and much of it can be done remotely. A London agency may suit you if you want in person meetings. Ask any agency, including us, how work is done and how often you will speak.
Can any agency guarantee that ChatGPT will mention my business?
No. AI answers vary by engine, by prompt and over time, and no one controls them. Digital Marka says on its own site that GEO cannot guarantee inclusion in an AI response. We make the same statement. Be careful with any promise of a position or a fixed number of citations.
Should I hire a GEO agency or build an in house team?
It depends on volume and skills. An agency can start faster and brings a defined method. An in house hire gives daily access and deep product knowledge. Some businesses start with an agency and bring work in later. Read GEO agency vs in house team.
How do I check that a GEO agency's claims are true?
Ask for the basis of any claim, a dated example, and permission to speak to a client. Look at the raw AI answers, not just a score. Check the agency's own site for the services it states. If you rely on a published ranking, check who published it and whether the publisher is listed in it.
Does GrowingAI work with UK businesses, and what would a first project look like?
Yes, remotely, from India. A first project is usually the GEO Pilot: $999 fixed, 30 days, one domain and one language, with a baseline, fixes, up to 10 rewritten pages and a retest. We have no UK office and no UK case study, so ask us anything you need before you decide. You can start with a free report through our contact page.
