Refunds and Cancellation

We want the terms to be clear before you pay. Your written proposal always takes priority over this page for your project.

Free items

The free AI visibility checker, free tools and chat assistant are free. There is nothing to refund.

One time projects

  • Before work starts: cancel in writing and we refund the deposit in full, less payment processor fees we cannot recover.
  • After work starts: you pay for work already done and any third party costs we committed. We refund the rest of the deposit, if any.
  • After delivery: fees for delivered work are not refundable. If a deliverable does not match the written scope, tell us within 14 days and we will fix it at no extra charge.

Monthly retainers

Retainers renew monthly. Cancel with 30 days written notice. The current paid month is not refunded once work for that month has started. We stop work at the end of the notice period.

GEO Pilot

The GEO Pilot is a fixed price, one time service. If we have not started work, you can cancel for a full refund. Once the baseline has started, we refund the unused part of the work in proportion to what has not been delivered, as set out in your written scope. Third party tools or plugins you choose to buy are billed by those providers and cannot be refunded by us.

What we do not refund

  • Ranking, citation or traffic outcomes. We do not promise them, so they are not grounds for a refund.
  • Ad spend, domains, licences or other third party costs already paid.
  • Work stopped because access, content or approvals were not provided on time.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, EU or another region with mandatory rights (for example a cooling off period for distance contracts), those rights apply and nothing here reduces them. For digital services you ask us to start within the cooling off period, you agree to pay for the work done up to the cancellation.

How to ask

Email hello@thegrowingai.com with your invoice number and reason. We reply within 2 working days and process approved refunds within 10 working days, in the currency you paid.
