GEO agencies in Canada: a fair guide for buyers

If you search for the best GEO agency in Canada, you will find lists written by the agencies on them. This guide is alphabetical, sourced from each agency's own site, and written by a firm that is also listed. We say so up front.

What this isA guide, not a ranking. Nine Canadian agencies in alphabetical order, with facts from their own websites.
Who wrote itGrowingAI, a GEO agency in Rajasthan, India, listed here as an interested party.
Last checked16 October 2026. Each agency entry carries the date it was read.

We are GrowingAI. Our team is remote, based in Rajasthan, India, and we have no office in Canada. We take clients outside India, and Canada is one of the markets in our plans. Because we gain if you contact us, we have limited this page to facts you can verify on each agency's own site, and we hold our own entry to the same rule.

Nothing here says one agency is better than another. We did not speak to clients or review work. We read public pages on 16 October 2026. If a fact looks wrong to you, the corrections note at the end says how to tell us.

How we chose

How did we choose which Canadian agencies to include?

We searched for GEO agency Canada, AEO agency Toronto, AI SEO company Vancouver and similar phrases, and read agency directories and local round ups. Several of those round ups are published by agencies that put themselves first. We used them only to find names, then went to each agency's own website for the facts. If a page did not say something, we did not fill it in.

An agency is listed when its own site states a GEO, AEO or AI search optimization service and gives a Canadian base. We looked for nine to ten and found nine with enough public information to describe fairly. Some well known firms in Canada may not appear because their service pages were not clear or we could not read them. The list is a starting point and does not cover the whole market.

We did not judge quality. We did not test deliverables. We did not rate responsiveness or results. We recorded the location, the AI search services each says it offers, who it says it serves, whether it shows prices and how a buyer reaches it.

  • Own website states GEO, AEO or AI search services
  • Canadian base or office stated
  • Facts read and dated on 16 October 2026
  • No opinions on quality, results or honesty

Entry rules for the guide

  • ✓Own website states GEO, AEO or AI search services

  • Ranking by merit instead of alphabetical order

How we kept this fair

How we kept this fair, and what Canadian law says

Canada regulates advertising claims through the Competition Act, which the Competition Bureau enforces. On its page about false or misleading representations, read by us on 16 October 2026, the Bureau says the general provision covers any representation, in any form, that is false or misleading in a material respect. It describes a criminal route that applies when a representation is made knowingly or recklessly, and a civil route that does not require intent, with administrative penalties for corporations of up to $10,000,000 for a first occurrence, according to the page.

We take that as a plain rule for a comparison page: be accurate, be able to show where each fact came from and do not leave a false impression by what we leave out. We attribute each fact to the agency's own site and the date we read it, paraphrase and never copy, use plain text names with no logos, and avoid words such as best or leading for any firm. We did not check provincial rules or the rules of professional bodies, and we cannot say they have no effect.

This is not legal advice. If you are named here and see an error, email hello@thegrowingai.com and we will check and fix it.

Where GrowingAI fits

Where does GrowingAI fit, and when might another option suit you better?

GrowingAI is a small GEO agency founded by Nitesh Dan Charan. We work from Rajasthan, India, with a remote team, and we have no local office in Canada. We do one thing, getting brands named and cited in answers from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Microsoft Copilot. We do not do ads, web builds or social media.

The GEO Pilot is a fixed price of $999 USD, one time, delivered inside 30 days. It includes a baseline across five AI engines on up to 20 buyer prompts, a crawler access check, technical and entity fixes, up to 10 priority pages rewritten to be answer ready, a retest and a report with a 90 day roadmap. We make the changes ourselves, and you approve them. After that, monthly plans start from $1,500 and from $3,000 USD, confirmed in writing before work begins. See pricing. Prices are in US dollars and we do not quote in Canadian dollars on this site.

Our two client examples are Emtech, a Dubai IT company, and Sudarshan Stoneix, a marble and granite company. Neither is Canadian, each is one client in one market and neither is a promise of results. For Canadian specifics, including bilingual sites, read our Canada page.

  • Remote team, no office in Canada
  • Only GEO work
  • Fixed $999 USD Pilot, then plans from $1,500 and $3,000 USD a month
  • Two client examples, neither in Canada

Honest fit

When another option may suit you better

A fair guide has to say where we are not the right fit.

You want a team in your city

If you want to meet in person in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary or Ottawa, pick an agency with an office there. We are remote and based in India.

You need French language or Quebec expertise

If your site must serve French speaking buyers with local knowledge, ask each agency about it. We handle one language per Pilot and have no Quebec team.

You want a full service agency

If you also want web design, paid media, social and branding from one firm, several agencies in this guide list those services. We do not.

You are a public body or have formal procurement rules

If you must buy from a Canadian supplier or follow a tender process, a local firm may be required. We are not set up for that.

Pricing

How is GEO priced in Canada?

Of the nine agencies we read, one, seoplus+, publishes prices on a page we found: GEO from $1,199 a month and a package called AI Search 360 from $2,999 a month, as of 16 October 2026. The page uses a dollar sign and does not name the currency, so ask. Infinity Digital says GEO is a 6 to 12 month investment and that quotes follow a free audit. The other agencies list a consultation, audit or proposal as the next step.

Because so few prices are public, we will not give a market average. We would be guessing. What we can say is how to compare. Ask whether the quote is a monthly retainer, a project fee or a fixed pilot. Ask what is included in tracked prompts, engines, pages written or rebuilt, and markets. Ask how long the minimum term is and how to stop. Ask who does the implementation and whether tool subscriptions are extra.

Currency and tax are easy to miss. Confirm whether a price is in Canadian or US dollars and whether GST or HST applies. For more on models, see how much GEO costs and our comparisons of a Pilot versus a retainer and an agency versus an in house hire.

Checklist

Questions to ask any GEO agency

  1. 1

What will you change on my site?

Ask for a list: crawler rules, schema, page rewrites, entity profiles. A report with no changes is a different product.

  2. 2

Which AI engines and how many prompts?

Ask which engines are tracked, how many buyer prompts, and who writes them.

  3. 3

    Who does the work?

Ask whether the people on the sales call work on your project and whether any work is outsourced.

  4. 4

Do you cover my language and region?

Ask about French and English content, province specific pages and local listings.

  5. 5

How do you measure without promising rankings?

AI answers change often. Treat a promise of citations as a warning sign.

  6. 6

What is the price in which currency, and what is the term?

Ask about taxes, tools, minimum term and how to stop.

  7. 7

Can I speak to a client like me?

Ask for a reference and for the context behind any case study.

  8. 8

What do you need from my team?

Developers, writers, legal review and approvals all set the pace.

Test

How to run a one week test of any agency

  1. 1

Day 1: write ten buyer prompts

Type what a buyer in your city would ask, including the city, product and a price or need.

  2. 2

    Day 2: record the baseline

Run each prompt in the engines you care about and save the answers and dates. The AI Visibility Checker gives a first look.

  3. 3

Day 3: ask each agency to read your answers

A capable agency can explain from your own results why you are missing and what it would change first.

  4. 4

    Day 4: check crawler access

Use the AI Crawler Access Checker and ask what each agency found.

  5. 5

Day 5: compare scope in writing

Line up pages, prompts, engines, markets, term and who does the work.

  6. 6

    Day 6: call a reference

Ask what changed, how long it took and what went wrong.

  7. 7

    Day 7: decide on evidence

Pick the agency that understood your situation and wrote the clearest scope.

Searcher language

What Canadian buyers type when they look for a GEO agency

Canadian searches tend to mix the service name with a city: GEO agency Toronto, AI SEO company Vancouver, AEO agency Calgary, generative engine optimization Ottawa or answer engine optimization Montreal. Others search by outcome, such as how to get my business recommended by ChatGPT or how to show up in Google AI Overviews.

The labels overlap. GEO, AEO and AI SEO describe related goals. Our explainer on GEO, AEO and SEO sets out the differences. When you compare firms, read the scope and not the label. In this guide, one agency says AI search optimization and not GEO, another defines GEO but sells AEO, and a third sells GEO as its main service.

If you work in a regulated field such as law, dental or financial services, ask each agency how copy is reviewed and who approves claims. See our pages on law firms and dental practices for the questions we ask.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How much does a GEO agency cost in Canada?

Most Canadian agencies in this guide do not publish prices. One, seoplus+, lists GEO from $1,199 a month and a package from $2,999 a month as of 16 October 2026, without naming the currency. Others quote after an audit or consultation. GrowingAI charges a fixed $999 USD for a 30 day Pilot, with monthly plans from $1,500 and $3,000 USD. Compare scope and term, not the headline number.

Who is the best GEO agency in Canada?

This page cannot say, and any page that names one is giving an opinion. Fit depends on your industry, site, budget and the people on your project. Use the alphabetical list to build a shortlist and the one week test to compare.

Is GEO the same as AEO?

They overlap. GEO usually means being named and cited in generated answers. AEO usually means structuring content to answer questions directly. Agencies use the terms differently, so read the scope.

Do I need a Canadian GEO agency?

Not always. A local office helps with in person meetings, regional knowledge and procurement rules. A remote team can work if scope, access and communication are clear. GrowingAI is remote from India with no Canadian office.

Can a GEO agency guarantee my business appears in ChatGPT?

No honest agency can. AI answers vary by engine and change often. Look for clear deliverables, a baseline and a retest, not a guarantee.

How long does GEO take?

Technical fixes can be quick. Whether engines then cite you depends on factors outside anyone's control. Be wary of fixed timelines for outcomes. Our Pilot has a fixed 30 day delivery of work, not of results.

Can I do GEO myself?

For a simple site, yes. Free tools such as our robots.txt generator and llms.txt generator help with the basics. An agency helps when the site is complex or you want the work done for you.

Why is GrowingAI listed on this page?

We wanted a fair guide that includes us honestly. We say we are an interested party, describe ourselves with the same kind of facts and list when another option may suit you better.
