- A buyer who asks an AI engine for a provider in Dubai gets a short list built from pages, listings and mentions the engine can read. To be on it, your company must be easy to read, easy to place in Dubai and easy to verify.
- The pieces are practical: crawler access, service pages with plain facts, clear location and licence details, consistent listings, genuine reviews and an English and Arabic plan where your buyers use both.
- One published example: Emtech, a Dubai IT company selling IT annual maintenance contracts, is now cited for IT AMC queries in several AI engines. That is one client in one market, not a promise.
How do Dubai buyers use AI engines to find a provider?
They ask for what they need in plain words: a company that provides a service, in Dubai, often with a constraint such as price range, size of business, free zone or timeline. The engine then answers with a short list or a paragraph that names a few companies. If you are not in it, the buyer may never reach your website. We cover how buyers in the region use AI search in AI search in the UAE, and we do not claim a measured share of buyers who do this, because we have no reliable public figure.
What we can describe is the work that makes a Dubai company readable and verifiable to an engine. None of it is a trick, and none of it can guarantee a recommendation. It removes obstacles and adds the evidence an engine can use.
What is the one published example?
Emtech is a Dubai IT company that sells IT annual maintenance contracts. After GrowingAI's work, it is cited for IT AMC queries in Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini. The full account is on the Emtech case study. It is one client in one market. We cannot say the same result will repeat for you, and the case study should be read with that in mind.
What does a Dubai company need on its website?
| Item | What to publish | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Service pages | One page per service with what it is, who it is for, what is included, how it is delivered and typical timelines | Engines match services to buyer questions |
| Location facts | Dubai address, areas served, emirates covered, free zone or mainland status where relevant | Places you clearly in the right market |
| Company facts | Legal name, trading name, licence details you are willing to publish, founding year, team | Lets engines and buyers verify you |
| Pricing logic | How you charge, ranges or starting points where you can, what is excluded | Answers the cost question buyers always ask |
| Proof | Named case studies with permission, client types, outcomes with dates | Gives engines something specific to cite |
| Contact route | Phone, email, form, office hours | Makes the next step clear |
| Arabic and English | Matching pages in both languages where your buyers use both | Serves both audiences. See below |
How should you handle Arabic and English?
Buyers in the UAE search in both languages. If your buyers use Arabic, publish real Arabic pages, not machine translated copies with errors. Keep facts identical across languages: the same address, services and prices. Use clear language switching and the correct language declarations in your page code. Our guide to GEO for multilingual sites in Arabic and English goes into the structure. If you cannot maintain both languages properly, a well made single language site beats two sloppy ones.
Which listings and profiles matter?
Engines draw on more than your website. For a Dubai business, check the following and make sure each carries the same name, address, phone and services as your site.
- Google Business Profile, with the correct category, address, hours and service area.
- Industry directories and chambers or associations you belong to.
- Review platforms your buyers use. Ask real customers to review. Do not buy reviews.
- Professional profiles for you and your team.
- Any marketplace or partner listings, such as vendor partner directories.
Mismatches create doubt. If a listing shows an old address or a former trading name, correct it. The method is in how to fix wrong details in AI answers.
Can AI crawlers read your site?
Check this first, because it costs nothing. OpenAI's crawler overview, which we read in October 2026, lists OAI-SearchBot for ChatGPT search features, GPTBot for training and ChatGPT-User for user initiated actions, and says each setting is independent. If your robots.txt, your hosting or your security layer blocks the bots you want, you have opted out. Run the free AI Crawler Access Checker and read whether Cloudflare or a firewall is blocking ChatGPT. Many Dubai sites use content delivery networks and security plugins, so this is a common place for problems.
What prompts should a Dubai company test?
Write down the questions your buyers ask, in the words they use. Include the service, the city and the constraint. Examples of the form, not real search data: which company provides a given service for small businesses in Dubai, how much does a given service cost in Dubai, what should I check before choosing a provider in the UAE. Run each prompt at least five times on each engine you care about, with a clean session, and record whether you are named, how you are described and which sources are cited. Our post on researching buyer prompts has a fuller method.
| Engine | What to record |
|---|---|
| Named or not, description, cited sources, date, whether search was on | |
| Whether your page is a cited link, and the wording | |
| Cited sources shown with the answer | |
| Named or not, description | |
| Named or not, cited sources |
What mistakes do Dubai companies make?
- Service pages that say we offer comprehensive solutions without naming the solution.
- No visible address or licence information, which makes the company hard to verify.
- A website that shows text only through scripts, so simple crawlers see nothing.
- Different company names across the website, the profiles and the directories.
- Arabic pages that were machine translated and never checked.
- Claims such as number one company in Dubai with no source.
How do you show you are a real, licensed Dubai business?
Buyers in Dubai often check whether a provider is properly registered before they call. Engines try to answer the same question. Publish the facts you are comfortable sharing and that your rules allow: the registered company name, the emirate and the licensing authority, the year you started, and the office address where clients can visit. Put them in the footer and on the about page in plain text, and keep them identical on every profile. Do not publish a licence number you cannot document, and never imply a licence you do not hold. A company that is easy to verify is easier to recommend, whether the reader is a person or an engine.
Add named people. A team page with real names, roles and short bios, linked to professional profiles, shows who stands behind the service. The reasoning is in author pages and expertise signals. Where you have client names you may use, with written approval, say which kinds of clients you serve, because buyers ask whether you have worked with companies like theirs.
